ZOHO Integration

Integrating Zoho with our IAM solution enables centralized user authentication, access control, and streamlined identity management across your organization. This integration ensures that users can securely access Zoho applications while adhering to your organization’s security policies.

The integration process involves configuring Zoho as a service provider, setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) based user provisioning, and defining appropriate access policies. Once integrated, users can authenticate seamlessly using their IAM credentials, improving security and reducing the need for multiple logins.

Please Note

This integration process involves configurations on both Fixiam and Zoho, requiring a back-and-forth setup. Ensure you follow the steps sequentially and complete each part before moving to the next. The process includes:

  1. Setting up SSO in Fixiam
  2. Configuring SAML authentication in Zoho
  3. Retrieving metadata from Zoho and updating Fixiam
  4. Finalizing the setup and testing SSO

For a seamless integration, it is recommended to perform this setup in one continuous session to avoid configuration mismatches or authentication errors

Follow the step-by-step guide in our Zoho Integration Process Document to complete the setup

Step 1 - Configure SSO in Fixiam

  1. Log in to Fixiam as an admin
  2. Navigate to Applications > Apps
  3. From the list of pre-integrated apps, select Zoho
  4. The SAML configuration page will open
  5. On the Configuration page, click Export Metadata. In some browsers, the file will be automatically downloaded. On Google Chrome, it will open in a new tab—manually save it as an XML file.

Step 2: Access the Zoho Admin Account

  1. Sign in at https://accounts.zoho.com/signin.

  2. In the left menu, under Organization, click SAML Authentication.

  3. Click Setup Now and upload the Metadata file downloaded from Fixiam.

  4. The Name Identifier field will be set to Email Address by default.

  5. Optionally, configure additional settings as needed, then click Submit

Step 3: Configure Zoho Metadata in Fixiam After submitting the previous step, Zoho will display a new page where you can download the metadata file.

  1. Open the downloaded XML file in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge—it should look like the image below.

  2. Copy the following values from the XML file: Entity ID ACS URL

  3. Go back to Fixiam, still on the Configuration page, and enter the following details:

Step 4: Confirm Configuration

  1. Create a Group in Fixiam.
  2. Assign the newly created Zoho Application to the group.
  3. Add Users to the group.
  4. Test the SSO Setup by logging into Zoho using one of the added users.
  5. If successful, users should be authenticated seamlessly via Fixiam. 🚀
