Salesforce
This setup involves configuration on both Salesforce and Fixiam. Since Salesforce is a pre-integrated application in Fixiam, the process is streamlined—just plug in your domain and export metadata.
✅ Step 1: Enable SSO in Salesforce
- Log in to your Salesforce Admin account
- Go to Setup, then search for “Single Sign-On” in the Quick Find box
- Click the result, then click Edit under Federated Single Sign-On Using SAML
- Check “SAML Enabled” and click Save
Step 2: Configure Salesforce in Fixiam
- Log in to Fixiam as an admin
- Navigate to Applications > Apps
- From the list of pre-integrated apps, select Salesforce
- The SAML configuration page will open
- Replace salesforcedomain in both fields with your actual Salesforce domain
- Click Export Metadata to download the XML file
- Click Save
Step 3: Complete SSO Setup in Salesforce
- Back in Salesforce, return to the Single Sign-On Settings page
- Click New from Metadata File
- Upload the XML metadata file downloaded from Fixiam
- Click Create
- In Quick Find, search for “My Domain”
- Under Authentication Configuration, click Edit
- Select the New Authentication Service next to the login form
- Click Save
Step 4: Confirm Configuration
- In Fixiam, create a group (e.g., Salesforce Users)
- Assign the Salesforce application to the group
- Add users to the group (make sure they also exist in Salesforce)
- Test the setup by logging into Salesforce with one of the added users
✅ If the login is successful, your integration is complete!
