Salesforce

This setup involves configuration on both Salesforce and Fixiam. Since Salesforce is a pre-integrated application in Fixiam, the process is streamlined—just plug in your domain and export metadata.

✅ Step 1: Enable SSO in Salesforce

  1. Log in to your Salesforce Admin account
  2. Go to Setup, then search for “Single Sign-On” in the Quick Find box
  3. Click the result, then click Edit under Federated Single Sign-On Using SAML
  4. Check “SAML Enabled” and click Save

Step 2: Configure Salesforce in Fixiam

  1. Log in to Fixiam as an admin
  2. Navigate to Applications > Apps
  3. From the list of pre-integrated apps, select Salesforce
  4. The SAML configuration page will open
  5. Replace salesforcedomain in both fields with your actual Salesforce domain
  6. Click Export Metadata to download the XML file
  7. Click Save

Step 3: Complete SSO Setup in Salesforce

  1. Back in Salesforce, return to the Single Sign-On Settings page
  2. Click New from Metadata File
  3. Upload the XML metadata file downloaded from Fixiam
  4. Click Create
  5. In Quick Find, search for “My Domain
  6. Under Authentication Configuration, click Edit
  7. Select the New Authentication Service next to the login form
  8. Click Save

Step 4: Confirm Configuration

  1. In Fixiam, create a group (e.g., Salesforce Users)
  2. Assign the Salesforce application to the group
  3. Add users to the group (make sure they also exist in Salesforce)
  4. Test the setup by logging into Salesforce with one of the added users

✅ If the login is successful, your integration is complete!
