How to Delete User Roles
Deleting a user role is necessary when the role is no longer needed or relevant to the organization’s operations.
Steps to Delete a User Role
- Access Role Management:
- Log in as a Client Admin.
- Navigate to User Management and select Role.
- Select the Role to Delete:
- From the list of roles, locate the Role Name you want to delete.
- Click on the role to open its details.
- Review Role Assignment: Ensure that no users are currently assigned to the role. Reassign any users to a different role if necessary.
- Delete the Role:
- Click on the Delete Role button.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
- Confirm Deletion: Once deleted, the role cannot be recovered. Ensure that the deletion is final.
📝Custom roles that comes out-of-the-box with Seamfix-IAM (Administrator and Staff) cannot be deleted
