Seamfix Limited ("the Company," "we," "our," or "us") is the sole owner of the domain https://www.seamfix.com and its associated software/application, including the Fixiam solution. This policy has been established for users of the Fixiam solution (“user(s)”, “you”, “your”, “yourself”, or “customer”) since your privacy is important to us and so is being transparent about the information that we collect and process.
Seamfix is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users in line with global privacy and data protection best practices. We never sell your Personal Information and we carry out Processing of your personal information in accordance with the EU General Data protection regulation (GDPR), Nigeria Data protection Act (NDPA), Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act (DPPA) 2019, and U.A.E Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) 2021.
This policy covers the personal information/personal data that is collected directly from you by Fixiam or information that is shared with us by our customers (your employer) as you sign up to use our service or interact with the Fixiam solution (the Service).
Subject to you “unconditionally” accepting this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, as well as other relevant and applicable rules set forth within Fixiam, Seamfix shall provide you access to the solution, availing you of its services.
- What is Personal Information?
With regards to this Privacy Policy, “personal information” or "personal data", for the purpose of better understanding, shall be defined as:
- Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Referred to as “Data Subject”); wherein an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

We collect information about you as provided by your employer or when you provide it to us by signing up for the Service. We may also collect other types of data to provide and improve our Fixiam services.
We collect your full name, email address, phone number, house address, gender, biometric details, and employment details when you onboard the platform. We also collect authentication credentials, which include passwords and multi-factor authentication details, as well as usage data, such as actions/activities performed on the platform.
Other information that we may collect automatically as you use the service include device information, timestamps, access logs, and your IP address All information collected will be used to operate, deliver, improve, manage, and customize for your benefit and in your interest. Some personal data may be used to improve the accuracy and functionality of our AI-driven features, and we may retain certain data to facilitate potential future services offered directly to onboarded users.

When a client (your employer) provides personal data to facilitate identity access management, our processing is based on contractual obligations. On the other hand, processing for fraud detection, security enhancement, and service improvement is justified by our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and efficient system.
However, in cases where we use certain personal data for AI model training or future service offerings, we rely on your consent as a user. Additionally, we may process data to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Data Security Measures:
We have implemented rigorous security measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. Sensitive data, including biometric identifiers, is encrypted end-to-end using industry-standard security protocols. Personal data collected through our Solution is retained only for as long as necessary, in line with our contractual obligation, and to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the data and regulatory requirements. Biometric data, such as fingerprint and portrait captures, is stored using industry-standard encryption methods and is deleted once it is no longer required for authentication or security purposes. Access credentials and behavioral analytics data are periodically reviewed and purged to minimize data retention risks, as appropriate.
We ensure that all stored data is secured through robust encryption protocols and access controls. Upon termination of engagement with a client, we follow strict data deletion protocols.
